Besides philosophy, I enjoy singing and songwriting, practicing Jazz improvisation, rock climbing, literary translation, and spending time with my cats.

Here is my translation of the short story "Taking the Precepts," written by one of my favorite authors, Wang Zengqi (汪曾祺). The story offers a window to Buddhism as a way of life.
Here's a quote from Wang on writing: “The purpose of language is to make the reader understand it the instant she reads it and remember it the instant she hears it. The only criterion for language is accuracy.”
I strive for something akin to that in my philosophical writing as well.
